You spend a lot of time developing and creating content for your audience. It can be extremely frustrating, not to mention an inefficient use of time to share that content on TikTok and have no one see it or engage with it. You’ve likely seen several content creators talking about the “why is no one seeing my feed?” complaint on the platform. Why is this happening? Well, there is some science to the art. Here we will discuss what is the best time to post on TikTok.

When to Post on TikTok

  • The TikTok algorithm pushes videos that are getting lots of engagement to a user’s FYP (for you page). How do you achieve that?
  • Fish where the fish are! According to digitaltrends.com, it can be challenging to garner engagement without existing engagement. So you’ll need to pick the optimal time of day to post. This is critical to receiving more engagement.

Now that we understand the why let’s talk about the when and how. This formula isn’t an exact science. Your audience analytics are very specific to your content and while this is more of a general rule of thumb, keep in mind it is not one size fits all.

Influencemarketinghub.com shares that there are other parameters that can affect post engagement as well. For example, content creators can change their regular TikTok account into a pro account, allowing them to view important analytics. Like finding out where your audience is located so you know the timezones of your followers. You should also find out when your followers are active so you can easily pinpoint the best time to post. It’s back to the fish where the fish are ideal.
